To the Moon.

I never thought my life would be so affected by a total stranger until I broke down and mourned for one last night.

I have been reading the story of a fellow Marine spouse for about three years. Their love story is so romantic- the letters her husband writes to her, the things he does for her, it's all so completely sweet. Their love story is what first attracted me to her blog. A short while later, she found out she had cancer.

She was 25 when she was diagnosed. She bravely battled through it for 2 years.

On August 5, 2008 she left this world.

Her husband is a brave and admirable man. My thoughts are with him and their families.

It's people like this that make you cherish every moment of your life and relish in the beauty of it.
