Great Fun.

Recap of my weekend so far:

-Give myself an awesome and expensive birthday present in the form of a car wreck. Awesome.

-Wake up with neck and side pains. Wondering if they are accident related or normal old age. Don't have a car to go get checked out and don't want to bother friends.

-Call and make a claim to my insurance company. They try to get me a rental car for today. I call said rental agency to talk about getting my car, they are closed. Call my insurance again. Round two. Second agency closed as well. Round three: they decide unless I want to pay for the car out of pocket until Monday, I'm just going to have to wait until then to get a rental car.

-Have been a prisoner in my house today because that's how I feel when I have no transportation.

-Ate two pieces of birthday cake that my friends brought yesterday, even after promising myself I was going to throw it away after they left. I can't use the excuse that it's my birthday any longer.

-Paced around the house wondering how I could satisfy my Diet Dr. Pepper fix. Before the wreck I had planned to go shopping for groceries today. I have NO caffeine and am going crazy!

-Had to call a co-worker to beg for a ride on Monday. I hate doing that shit.

-Researched insurance claim procedures and such on the Internet all day. To make myself feel better, I also researched cars in the slim chance that they will total mine out. I don't want to get a rebuilt car to drive that I will still have to pay on for four freaking years!

-Trying to make out a plan of what to eat the rest of the day and tomorrow considering my cabinets and fridge consist of sliced cheese, stale chips, and wine.

So, just the highlights so far of my weekend. Hope everyone else is having a better one!
