Not so lost.

I've finally decided what I want to do with my life.

Heh. After four years of college, and four years of teaching and realizing that's NOT what I want to do with my life, I think I've finally figured it out. And now I'm feeling much better that all the pieces are going to fit together. Not any time soon, but eventually.

Only problem is that what I want to do (get my Masters in Library Science) costs money. And I need to make money to spend it, but I don't want to teach again.

Over the past two months I have repeatedly applied to non-teaching related jobs in the hopes that someone will hire me. But alas, when people look at my resume, all they see is an educator who isn't teaching, but they have no interest in hiring me for a normal job. ugh. I need to get a job. The days of sitting at home with no purpose are getting moldy.

I've found a great college online where I can get my entire degree. But I'm too late to sign up for the fall, which means I can't begin until 2009, which also means that I won't finish until around 2011!!!! That will be SEVEN years after I graduated college. That's sad.

But at least I've found the path instead of wandering around in the forest.

OK, just coming over after getting your comment, and I haven't even finished reading this whole post yet, because as soon as I got to the "masters in library science" part I was like "OH MY GOD NO WAAAAAAAAY! HAAAAAA!" Out loud, for real, not just in my head. Didn't scare the dog too much, so that's good. :)

Back to reading, just had to share. :)
